New Profiles Express Your Interests on Causes

Your Profile Now Represents Your Civic Identity

Here at Causes, our designers and engineers have been hard at work building a brand new feature that turns your Causes profile into an expressive version of your civic identity. And I have to admit, they look pretty darn good!

What’s a Civic Identity?

To put it simply, civic identity is about how you see yourself in the world. It’s a blend of your citizenship, nationality and interests. Do you participate in school activities or charitable ventures? Are you aware of what’s going on in government? Do you plan to register to vote? Do you plan to join the military? What does it mean to you to be American (or whichever nationality you are)? Stickers are intended to visually represent the answers to questions like these and many more.

Choosing Your Stickers

How to choose stickers on Causes

When you sign up on Causes.com for the first time, we will ask you to chose at least 5 stickers that represent the issues you care about. If you already have an account, you’ll be prompted to choose stickers the next time you sign in to Causes. You can also add stickers by logging in, going to your profile and clicking the “+” icon near the top of the page.

You can remove or edit your stickers at any time by going to your account settings and clicking Stickers.

But wait, there’s more! Since each sticker represents an issue you care about, our ability to recommend campaigns you may be interested just got a lot better. Your home feed will now be filled to the brim with campaigns run by other Causes members, making it easier than ever before to get involved and help make a difference.

If you’re having trouble finding and choosing stickers, check out our support article or submit a support ticket.
