Causes Launches New Flagship Communities

Posted Jul 01, 2011 by

Over the past four years Causes has grown into a tremendous and vibrant platform of over 160 million installed users, 500,000 cause communities, and over 17,000 nonprofit partners. With all this activity it is easy to lose track of why we got into this business, to help people connect and support the causes and nonprofits they care about. That’s why today we are happy to announce the launch of 16 flagship cause communities, discoverable on the footer of Causes.com.

These cause communities will feature the best projects, top news, and lively discussion from the most exciting nonprofits and activists on our site. We hope this feature will help connect our users with great content and ways to support the causes they are passionate about.

The flagship causes are:

And:  Art, Climate Change, Civic Engagement, Disaster Relief, Food and Farming, LGBTQ, Health, Human Rights, International Development, Poverty in America, Women’s Empowerment, and World Religions.

To join these causes simply look for the footer at the bottom of your page when you’re browsing through Causes. What do you care about?

We here in North America have an ongoing situation dealing with the job field called: Bi-Lingual. It seems that our great land empowered many spanish speaking immigrants with FREE English as a second language lessons which could be good for everyone if everyone also spoke spanish. Our country’s leaders were quick to earmark funding for this that created a spanish only job field. To rectify this our leaders and legislators have to create a spanish as a second language addendum and provide everyone with the resources to apply and to receive the tools to be proficient in the Bi-Lingual career field, All we ask is for our equal time with this.
